How our recovering community is changing lives

There are many ways to support our recovery oriented community of care. Please view BCACD’s online newsletter here.

“I quit using drugs and have never felt better and more hopeful in my life.”

“Our family is back together…..thanks to the help we received at Burke Council.”

“I reclaimed my dignity.”

These aren’t isolated statements. They are the actual words of men and women, young and old, who came to BCACD in search of help and got it!

We are making progress in Burke County, but the needs remain great. As the sun sets on 2013, BCACD continues to address those needs-by providing prevention and education, treatment, and recovery support services. The links within this email detail some of our activities in those areas. You can give in many ways; download a donation form here from our website or complete this secure online form. You may also call the office to arrange a credit card gift by phone.

Please assist us, as we close out one year and begin another, to continue helping adolescents and adults, men and women, in families, faith communities, schools and businesses find and nurture new lives in recovery.

With thanks and gratitude for all of your help and support,

Jim Van Hecke, Executive Director

Burke Council on Alcoholism & Chemical Dependency, Inc.
